At Moanalua High School, there are specialized groups made to help the students enrolled into them follow their chosen career pathway. Some of these include JROTC for military, Menemac for those interested in the media core, and Business core for those wanting to go into business. Having these core groups, excell those who are placed into them. The other 50% of students going to classes, not having any idea of what they are going into just go through classes wishing the day to be over. We propose having the "regular" classes such as the ones taken for Core 1 and Core 2 be improved by integrating more hands on learning. This way, the students can have fun in class, and learn more about what they might want to do later in life. Going out into the world, they will be able to gain experience, and more.
